Is it true that DNA determines our character, our functioning and our illnesses? Or can each of us experience for ourselves that we are much more than just a physical body: that consciousness is the guiding factor? The answer to this question is of great importance to how we lead our lives. The consciousness perspective sheds a completely different light on heredity. It addresses its underlying causes. As a result, all societal challenges surrounding congenital disorders, DNA manipulation, and genetic profiling are explained in a completely different way. A current issue, certainly!
