LECTURE AND STUDY

Will there be an apocalypse?

  • Sunday May 16, 2027 - starts at 19:30 CEST
  • Free livestream through YouTube

Various religious traditions from different cultures and eras refer to an ‘end of time.’ From Christianity to the ancient Mayans and from Islam to Zoroastrianism, all mention an ‘apocalypse,’ a final chapter in the history of humanity. They also all mention a higher being—a messiah, prophet, or Maitreya Buddha—who will descend to Earth on this ‘Day of Judgement’.

How should we interpret this universal narrative? Is the world coming to an end, and if so, what comes after?

Lectures are followed by a 30-minute interactive Zoom study. Do you want to participate? Around a month prior to the lecture a sign-up link will be added to this lecture.
