In the 2nd century AD, the port city of Alexandria was a melting pot of cultures. It was a meeting place for wisdom from India, Egypt, Greece, and the Middle East. Ammonius Saccas demonstrated the common source of wisdom in all these traditions. The Neoplatonic School was born. Its influence continues to this day in Christianity, Islam, and the philosophical and scientific thinking that emerged during the Renaissance.
After each lecture there will be a 30 minute interactive Zoom study.
