As human beings, we are constantly striving to further develop our latent capacities. However, that process of development does not always proceed smoothly. The question then is whether we therefore need help in the form of a ‘saviour’, or whether, based on our human dignity, we can still take responsibility ourselves. In the latter case, the question is how we can achieve that, in collaboration with others.
