The period from Christmas to Epiphany is also known as the time of the birth of the inner light. It refers to the successful initiation process of a human being who gains experiences in realms of existence beyond those familiar to the average human being. The end result is that the initiant consciously experiences the inner Christ and thus becomes a source of inspiration for his fellow human beings.
